India Denies Involvement in Terror Attack
This rebuttal follows Pakistan’s claim that New Delhi was behind a terrorist operation on Saturday morning in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region, located in the northwest and sharing a frontier with Afghanistan.
The violent incident involved a suicide attacker who drove a vehicle packed with explosives into a military convoy, after which unselective gunfire erupted.
According to the Pakistan Army, the attack resulted in the death of 13 military personnel and left three non-combatants injured, including two minors. a news outlet initially cited official sources stating that 29 civilians were wounded during the assault.
Within hours of the tragedy, the Inter-Services Public Relations division of the Pakistani military released a message directly blaming India for the violence: “In a cowardly attack, planned and orchestrated by the terrorist state of India and executed by its proxy Fitna al Khwarij, a Security Forces convoy was targeted today in the general area of Mir Ali, North Waziristan District.”
The statement continued with a declaration of resilience: “The security forces of Pakistan, in step with the nation, remain steadfast in their resolve to eradicate Indian-sponsored terrorism from the country, and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers and innocent civilians further reinforce our unwavering commitment to safeguarding our nation at all costs.”
